10 Bollywood heartthrobs who are anti-social media
If you thought all celebrities love to be in the spotlight, then read on to be surprised. They have ruled the silver screen for years and invariably hogged the limelight, but are pretty wary when it comes to having their presence on social media.
Interestingly, these film stars don’t feel they are losing anything at all by keeping themselves veiled.
Most movie celebrities use social media at least once in a while, either for their films’ promotions or simply to stay updated. Here are 10 stars who feel they can do without social media, with each one’s justification:
1. Kareena Kapoor
“I don’t know. Maybe, I’m not so kicked about the idea of online presence.”
2. Ranbir Kapoor
“You know, people either praise or abuse actors on social media sites. That would only serve to either spoil me or make me feel bad.”
3. Saif Ali Khan
“I like the shroud of mystery that surrounds a star. I would prefer to keep it that way.”
4. Rani Mukherji
“I’m not an outgoing person otherwise, so it is better I remain off digital media.”
5. Imran Khan
“I don’t like people to intrude upon my personal life. I sincerely believe that digital media platforms make people lose their individuality.”
6. Anil Kapoor
“I wonder whether I really need the support of social media at all!”
7. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
“Why you don’t see me on social media? Well, you can say I haven’t yet fallen prey to the charms of the digital world.”
8. Kangna Ranaut
“These social media sites in a way make people display their loneliness, which I don’t like…”
9. Katrina Kaif
“I don’t want to face negative comments and end up being drawn into a war of words.”
10. Vidya Balan
“Sharing statuses on social media sites does not seem so necessary. I would spend my valuable leisure with family and friends instead. About fans, I speak to them through my films.”
